簡史
本校於一九七三年九月，由私立普通小學改制，成為政府資助的特殊學校，為六至十八歲，有特殊教育需要之學童提供免費教育。
辦學宗旨
- 按聖經真理教導兒童走當行的路。
- 本著基督精神，發展全人教育，培育學童活出豐盛生命。
- 為有特殊教育需要的兒童，提供優質教育。
- 就學童個別差異施教，誘導學生學習興趣，充份發揮其潛能，使之得以在靈、德、智、體、群、美諸育上有均衡發展增進，以適應社會，積極進取，明辨是非，服務社群。
教育目標
- 廣傳福音，使兒童榮神愛人，成為良好公民，活出豐盛人生。
- 協助香港路德會宣揚福音，領人歸主，培育信徒。
- 按基督教信仰，配合本港的教育目標，為學童提供優質教育。
- 透過活動及學習經驗，發展潛能，使他們在靈、德、智、體、群、美六育方面皆有均衡的發展。
- 透過家長和學校的合作，提供活動及學習，使學生儘量善用本身之智能，發掘學生興趣， 讓其有足夠空間發展多元化智能，盡其所長，克服自身的障礙，以適應社會生活。

- 推展優化課堂文化。
- 推展關顧文化，加強家校聯繫。
- 為推展新高中課程做好準備。
上課時間及班級編制
本校採全日制，上課時間由上午八時五十五分至下午三時三十分，每週上課五天。
全校分中學部及小學部，為學生提供小學及初中教育，每班學額20人。本校並開設有延伸班，為十六歲至十八歲之中三畢業生提供過渡至成人之實務課程。
The School
Saviour Lutheran School is a special school for mildly mentally handicapped children.
Our school motto is “Faith, Hope, Love”.
We aim at educating students to achieve their best by providing them with an enjoyable learning environment that enables students,
parents and staff to learn and work efficiently and joyfully.
As a Christian school, we nurture students both intellectually and spiritually through inculcating Christian values so they may live a life of abundance.
Based on Christian beliefs and the aims of education for Hong Kong,
we provide students with quality education through activities and learning experience to foster their spiritual, moral, intellectual, social,
physical and aesthetic development.
Through the cooperation of parents and the school,
students are facilitated to overcome their differences in abilities and aptitudes,
and to identify and develop their interest and abilities to the full in order to participate in mainstream society.
